Cookies Galore!

This is what I spent the entire day doing. My sisters, mom and I went over to Grandma's house to join my aunt and cousin in a cookie-baking day. We made sugar cookies, spritz, almond dings, fudge, hot fudge sauce (because we goofed up the first batch of fudge.. so it became sauce..), and these heavenly chocolate ball things that I don't know the name of. And we put Grandpa in charge of the malt making!

In the series of pictures below, you'll see some fun little shots, as well as my immense frustration with the spritz machine. Here's the thing: That spritzer is a piece of junk. By the end of the day, I was very close to stomping on it. Trying to put that thing together is so super frustrating >:( My aunt figured it out the first time, but wasn't quite sure how she did it.. then something went wrong while I was using it, so I took it apart to see what was wrong. Then we spent the next half hour trying to figure out how to put it back together correctly. Turns out, we had the tube upside down the whole time.... hehhhhh. But still! After that, it was a pain in the tush.

Anyways, it was a lovely day and I don't want to look at another cookie for a very long time. Probably till Sunday.

 ;)
 (still so super duper confused.)
(obviously, I got it to work. Barely.)

  2. so the cookies that you got frustrated with? Well those are my favorite. We used to go to my grandmas and make them. Only i'm pretty sure we just used a meat grinder (only not rly a grinder it was for meat tho) thing instead. I mean we ended up with oval cookies and not circles, but they tastes wonderful, and we could work it at like the age of four.
