So, I was going to post a DIY for this week. It took me a few days to make it and then two steps before I would be done, the needle on the sewing machine snapped. So I had to dig around for another, and once I was back on track, the whole bloody project tore in half. So I gave up for now :) And you get a boring blog post instead.

So, my room is super small, right? Basically all I have in it is a giant loft bed+futon thing, a desk, a chair and a little shelf. And then a small space to walk around. The loft bed takes up way too much room, and my ceiling is really low. My brother has been asking for a bunk bed, so we decided to make some changes within the rooms. When I go off to school in a few months, my sister Mary will get my room and she doesn't want the loft bed. So sometime in the next few weeks, we'll move my bed up to  my brothers room, and I'll have a bed on the floor which is completely fine with me. Mary wants a headboard, so we're thinking of making one! Something like this:

Still not really sure how that will work. But I'll figure out something. She even wants that color painted on the walls, because right now my room is this gross, weird purplish-bluish color that I thought was groovy when I was 12.

I'm excited for something new, and for something that will give me a little more room. I'll miss my futon, but I think I'll live (:
